Evolon® is an exceptional textile material because it consists of extraordinary fibres, which are also called microfilaments.
More than just fibres
The word filament comes from the Latin'filamentum' and means threadwork. Since microfilaments can be infinitely long, extremely thin and at the same time extremely flexible, they can be used to produce particularly soft, supple, light and very resistant textiles.
Another remarkable feature of Evolon® is that it is manufactured in an environmentally friendly way and can be used sustainably. Also, the microfilaments and super-microfilaments used in Evolon® are up to 200 times finer than a human hair - resulting in a very dense, delicate fabric.
Versatile in use
Whether travelling, in the bathroom or for sports - textiles made of Evolon® look good everywhere. They are quickly stowed away in the case and are light as a feather, no grain of sand sticks to the beach. After a shower or bath, the textile absorbs 4.5 times its weight in water, and as bed linen, it helps allergy sufferers to get a restful sleep. Evolon® is also ideal for cosmetics because it cleanses gently and skin-friendly for facial care as a cosmetic or make-up remover - even without any additional cleaning products.
Impurities, dead skin flakes and make-up residues are absorbed, whereas standard fibres (e.g. cotton) spread them only on the skin.
Evolon® - fine fibre, long performance.
