We have used the nu:ju facial cleansing cloth for a week and sent it to an independent lab to check it for germs. Here are the results.
Tested hygiene - The laboratory report
We used the nu:ju® facial cleansing cloth for a week - without soap or wash gel, only with water, and then wiped the sink with it. Then we sent the used and a good make-up remover cloth to an independent laboratory for germ contamination testing. We wanted to know whether silver ionisation can prevent too many harmful germs and bacteria from settling in the cloth.
The laboratory report shows: from a hygienic point of view; the good facial cleansing cloth is not objectionable. But also the used make-up remover cloth has only a low aerobic total bacterial count of 120,000 CFU/624 cm² (a cloth in size 624 cm² weighs 8.125 g).
For comparison: the guideline value for packaged mixed salad is 50,000,000 CFU/g
